As a Telework!VA participant, your organization will have access to the Telework!VA/VirtualWorks Teleworker Self-Assessment Tool*, a customized online questionnaire that helps employees and their managers think through the various issues that are relevant to a successful telework arrangement. Once the employee answers a series of questions online, a feedback document provides a starting point for a dialogue between the employee and their manager about the employee's readiness for telework. The feedback document is not designed to give a "yes" or "no" answer regarding a person's or their position's suitability for telework, it merely measures readiness on a sliding scale and provides information on a possible plan of action.
